1st short protocol IVF + PCOS

Firstly thanks for all the stories that have kept me going over the past 2.5 years of ttc. My BFP... at last.
I had short protocol IVF i.e ivf lite.I take metformin 1000mg and pregnacare. I found the treatment was fine, the injections were ok and easy to do. I had a quick response to stims so ended up with egg collection earlier than we thought. Had 5 eggs with 3 that fertilised IVF. 2 were grade 1's and one 3. After transfer at 5 days blastocyst, it was doubtful if we would be able to freeze but we do now have one in store.Had to do Gestone injections daily, which we are continuing with. I was told to test 16 dpo, we waited for this. First test didn't work as no line in the cb control window. Then tried a viola early test, I thought this was negative as it is hard to read them( would not recommend for ease of use) Then did a clearblue again and it immediately changed to positive result. I am so shocked as so many people say it doesn't work very often first time around. For those of you who obsess with symptoms as I did here goes....
1dpt cramps and sore bladder feeling
2dpt cramps more urinating than normal
3 dpt(8dpo) occasional cramps
5dpt very lightheaded
not a lot until 13dpo, strong cramping panicked but read a lot of ladies have this and its normal
morning feeling lightheaded and slightly nauseous but fine after food.
Cramps have continued but not as intense. I am warm which I am never warm. I wake a lot in the night and having vivid dreams.
Thanks again to everyone who share their stories it kept me sane.

4 wks BFP then BFN & Poss MC???

I first want to thank you all for your supportive stories and postings because it has helped me out a lot during this process. I am 39 and I have had one failed IVF cycle (5dt of 2 grade A embies), I felt absolutely nothing after that cycle. Took a 6 mo break and had another cycle just this March, same process with 2 left over to freeze :) . Got a BFP on 12dpo with a First Response & Digital. I was over the moon, it was the day before my Beta that I did the test (FYI Trigger shot was already out of my system), so next morning I started to spot (very faint scant pink), went to my appt to find out my Beta was 9! Totally devastated. That afternoon, I noticed a more maroon, brownish discharge only when I wiped, not a flow at all, no cramps either. So I thought implantation bleeding maybe? I went to the ER, they told me by Beta was 9- so im still pregnant, however did not see anything in the ultrasound because its too early (Im about 4wks), however has to treat it like a miscarriage, put me on bedrest for 3 days and to repeat my beta with in 48 hrs, at that time it should double. I called my RE to confirm & have an appt tomorrow for the repeat lab. I took a HPT this morning and got a BFN. Of course I cried! I noticed that the time I started with the light spotting till today is when I would originally had my period? So, now I am wondering is this my period? I am having an early miscarriage now that my HPT is BFN? Has this happened to anyone? The only hope I have right now is one my Beta does at lease double & may be a slow riser and two I might be one of those woman who do have their periods while pregnant? Any thoughts, suggestions or personal experience would really help me sleep tonight. Thank you all!

PS: Dont have any other medical issues besides Fertility,

I am 33 years old, no fertility issues have ever been found! Pregnant once (unplanned) 10 years prior with miscarriage @6weeks. I tried for 3 years previously with my ex-husband when we found out he had severe sperm(morphology, count) issues. I've done temping, OPK's, Pre-seed, you name it!!! Fast forward a few years to my current relationship, fiance and I have been trying for awhile when the same issues seem to be arising again! Had a sperm analysis done and his count is EXTREMELY low. Got referred for IVF/ICSI right away. Found the best clinic in Northern California(3 hours away) and got started right away! All of my testing showed great ovarian reserve, uterus and ovaries great, so I was able to donate half of my eggs retrieved to offset the high cost! Had 2 3-day embryos rated AA put back in, embryologist even came in to tell me they looked perfect(no fragmentation). I couldn't believe it was actually my turn to be prego!!!!Stimulation went great and here are my symptoms-

Retrieval Day: Felt great everything went smoothly, rested in the evening and night.
1dp3dt: No symptoms except bloating, went to bed and woke up in the middle of the night with extreme pain in right ovary. rushed to ER and given IV said I had possible ovarian torsion? After about 3 hours of extreme pain it resolved itself? We are still not exactly sure what happen!
2dp3dt:still a little sore in ovary area, no other symptoms. Started progesterone suppositories.
3dp3dt:a little clear discharge.
4dp3dt:slight cramping in uterus(middle area) beginning, no sore boobs, no nausea, energy a little low.
5dp3dt:BFN, cramping continues...
6dp3dt:cramping in uterus, lite discharge, low energy.
7dp3dt:take wondfro, SLIGHTEST faint line almost evap looking. More cramping. No spotting at all!
8dp3dt:BFP!!!Clear but faint line!!! Everyone else sees it very clearly! Cramping intensifies, waves of nausea, slight food aversions. This is the first line out of maybe 300 times I've POAS!!!! Go in for my beta tomorrow!!! Fingers crossed!!!

BFP!!! Can't believe it!!!

Vasectomy not reversed but now prenant with HCG 1,200 at 2ww!!

33 years ago I had a vasectomy after my 3rd child. Divorced & met my new love 15 years ago who is now 38. I'm now 63 years so it was time to make babies & of the two options it was either reversal or go for IVF. Elected for IVF. Didn't think it was possible but 6 months ago and after 20 minutes in an operating theatre a needle extracted millions of my swimmers. 100% painless, no after effects, bloody amazing. At same time the wife 'went under'& they retrieved 12 eggs. Our 1st try with a fresh 5day old blastocyst grown in the lab made it to 6 weeks with some medication assistance. The HCG at 2 weeks was 140, more good news at 6 weeks HCG was 1,500, BUT we were shattered as it just disappeared at ultra sound at 8 weeks. Our 2nd FET (frozen embryo transfer) ended up a zero result at 2ww. BUT 1 hour ago got the news that our 3rd FET after a 2ww was bloody positive & bloody fantastic. The reason for this post is that it is 1,200 HCG! This was 1 embryo, WTF (that's not an IVF acronym) no drugs, no tablets, no chemicals so does anyone know (other than a negative reason) is this normal? The missus has twins in her second line of cousins on both sides of family tree.

IVF Two Week Wait

I wanted to write this and share my experience since I read over and over again these blogs and it really helped. This is my first ever blog and I promised myself if I got a positive result that I would post my story in hope that it may give others some comfort

I am almost 41, five rounds of IUI and just finished an IVF cycle - my first. So I only had 7 eggs collected which made me very nervous as my friends had between 15-25. I ended up with 1 grade one egg and two grade twos and the remainder also fertilised but at a lower grade. So three embryos were transferred back.

The two week wait well..... the pegesterone made me constantly bloated and had random stabbing pains. On day 9 after transfer I couldn't wait and did a home pregnancy test which was negative and clear blue brand. I thought that was it as only 3 more days until the blood test. Needless to say this afternoon when the doctor called me to say I am pregnant with a beta of 200 I was in disbelief. I had period pains the dull kind of a ache constantly for the past three days and I was convinced that was about to start my period.

I still have the same aches and pains now as I lie in bed and I just hope that the next two weeks before the first scan that the baby continues to grow as I know this is supposed to be the most unstable time for development. So I am keeping my fingers crossed and hope that anyone who is out there who took a pregnancy test and it was negative and is suffering period pains there is still a lot of hope.

Let's hope that the next milestone is met and then take it step by step. Good luck everyone and don't loose hope. Xxx

BFP after 4 years TTC, fibroid & immune issues, with IVF/FET

$

Finally after 4 long, hard years of TTC we are pregnant following our 7th transfer attempt! Fingers crossed it sticks!! Various female issues were considered and addressed over the years, including an endometrial polyp (2012) and a persistent submucosal fibroid (resected 2013 & 2014) but ultimately we were put in the unexplained category. I've never, ever conceived naturally. Last year after revisiting the problem we discovered I had elevated NK cells in my blood and these were also elevated on two separate uterine biopsies, so we decided to try treatment for immunological dysfunction using prednisone and clexane, plus intralipid on the most recent (and so far successful) attempt. Here's a quick summary of our IVF history:
IVF#1 - single day 5 transfer, BFN
FET 1 - single day 5 transfer, BFN
FET 2 - single day 5 transfer, BFN
IVF#2 - single day 5 transfer, BFN
FET 3 - single day 5 transfer, BFN - NB: tried prednisone + clexane
FET 4 - single day 5 transfer, early BFP (biochemical) - NB: I was weaning OFF prednisone this cycle and did not use clexane
IVF#3 - planned freeze all cycle, no transfer done
FET 5 - double transfer of two day 3 embryos - very, very faint BFP at 7dp3dt!!! Now getting stronger at 9dp3dt! OMG!!

This time with the FET cycle we used prednisone (25mg) and clexane (40mg) again, plus also an intralipid infusion just before my cycle started. The data seemed to suggest we might be onto something with the immune hypothesis and perhaps treating me this way is what has worked. My HPT lines have been getting darker over the past three days and we are really hopefully that THIS IS IT!!!!

I've not had any symptoms of note, at least nothing different to my usual luteal phase twinges, etc. And if anything, I've had less breast tenderness than usual for this last week of the cycle.

The heartache of this journey is almost unbearable at times. I am sending my strongest and most powerful best wishes to all of you wonderful ladies out there who are still trying. Don't give up. xoxoxox

earlier I didn't realise that Australia, beta tests differ from USA in results data. Our 1,200 HCG at 4 weeks (14 days post FET transfer of 1 embryo) needs to be multiplied by 3.18 ie., the reading in USA numbers is 3,816.
now 6 weeks, the last week very uncomfortable breast tenderness, grown 1 cup size, belly extending, excessive bloating, constant nausea. Hell, does 1 kid do all this?

BFP after IVF #5

After over 2 years of trying and 5 fresh cycles of IVF, I finally got my first ever BFP! I haven't posted much in forums during my struggle, but I found so much comfort in googling success stories anytime things got too hopeless. Now that I finally have a confirmed pregnancy, I'm here to share my story.

TTC History:

Me: 38, AMH 1.9, poor IVF responder
DH: 43, male factor
TTC 28 months

#1 IVF: BFN
#2 IVF: BFN
#3 IVF: BFN
-- changed clinics, started taking DHEA --
#4 IVF: BFN
#5 IVF: BFP

Pregnancy History:

2ww symptoms: none
HCG Beta @ 13dpo (10dp3dt) - 24
HCG Beta @ 18dpo (15dp3dt) - 236
HCG Beta @ 26dpo (23dp3dt) - 5621
Vaginal ultrasound @ 6w5d - embryo 3.8mm, heartbeat detected

Currently, I'm 8w5d pregnant and obviously over the moon! It felt like I was never going to get here. When my first beta came up as 24 (which is a very low positive) I was freaking out that I would miscarry right away. Because the normal level for my beta day should have been 80-100, the doctor said only a second test would be a better indicator. Luckily the numbers zoomed up from there. It was only after the 2nd beta that I allowed myself to believe that I could really be pregnant!

BTW, after two positive blood tests, I still was coming up negative on my home pee sticks at 18dpo. I was using the cheapo internet cardboard sticks, but still. I decided to stop peeing on sticks at this point because it was really messing with my mind. I also had NO symptoms until I was about 6 weeks pregnant. So much for early symptom spotting!

What did I do different on my successful cycle? I adopted two kittens two months before my last cycle, which helped cheer me up a lot and give me an outlet for my mothering instincts. Sounds silly but they really helped lift me out of a two year low caused by infertility and unemployment. I also completely abstained from alcohol for 3 months before. Additionally, I did weekly acupuncture sessions with someone who had experience with IVF treatments.

I hope this story helps somebody else during their struggle, and gives them a bit of hope.

My BFP - IVF/ICSI/PGD/FET Story

Me: 41, idiopathic infertility (I am just old)
DF: 41, 2 Children from previous marriage

TTC- 6 months. I honestly think that if we kept trying, I would have become pregnant. I took this route mainly because of my age and the ability to screen for healthy embryos (reducing the risk of miscarriage).

Feb 2015 IVF/ICSI#1 Antagonist Protocol- ER 17 eggs, 11 mature, 4 fertilized, 0 made it to 5 day
April 2015 IVF/ICSI #2 Antagonist Protocol (lower dose of Follistim)- ER 11 eggs, 9 mature, 4 fertilized, 2 made it to 5 day (6AB, 6BB) - performed PGD and only 6AB was genetically normal. ET on 4/29/15

What I did: Watched diet carefully (low carb, high protein/veg and monounsaturated fats). Acupuncture 2x week, supplements: DHEA (3x day), Fish Oil, L-Carnitine, CoQ-10, Calcium and Iron (the last 2 because I am a post bariatric patient). On night of Embryo transfer I slept with a heated blanket on low...I was told not to raise my body temperature but acupuncturist advised some warmth on my uterus...I seriously had it on 1 out of 10 in heat strength.

Symptoms during 2WW- Absolutely nothing other than normal PMS cramping, some hot flashes (on progesterone) and insomnia (chalked up to anxiety). I had brown spotting the day before beta and every feeling in my body told me my period was coming. I even stopped taking the hormones, took aleve, drank wine and had an orgasm - because I was convinced I didn't conceive.

May 8th- Beta: 30
May 10th- Beta: 72
May 12th- Beta 214

I started with a low beta, but I am now convinced that I had a late implanter since she was frozen. The cramps/spotting were just 1-2 days before beta. My RE is happy with beta progression and now schedules viability U/S for 5/19/15 so fingers crossed!

BFP after three years ttc!

Hubby and I (both 27) have been ttc for just over 3 years. I have pcos and there's also slight male factor. After trying on our own for a year, acupuncture and herbs for 5 months, we decided to move forward with IVF last year. Our fresh cycle resulted in 7 embryos. Fresh cycle and subsequent frozen transfer didn't work.

Going into FET #2 I was trying to remain calm and positive. I made a vision board, did a lot of meditating and yoga, ate well, prayed, and it really helped me to be calm.

The TWW started off normal. On 2 days past transfer I puked after dinner, though I think maybe it was just bad food? I hadn't really had any symptoms. No cramps no implantation spotting, boobs felt fine. Convinced it didn't work I even waited to change my estrogen patches on test day.

9dp5dt my beta was 147! I was shocked to say the least.

I go back Tuesday for beta 2 and am praying it's a good number. I have faith this is our take home baby.

It only takes ONE!

I am 32 and my husband (34) and I been TTC for two years. I had a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy in November 2014 to correct a uterine septum, remove as much endometriosis as possible, and remove a large ovarian cyst. At that time I was excited and thought we had finally identified our issues and were ready to move on and have a baby! We did three rounds of IUI that were all unsuccessful. Each round of IUI it became more and more clear that I wasn't responding to the medications. I was told that I had ovarian deficiency syndrome and that we could have difficulty with producing enough follicles/eggs for IVF. We decided to move forward with IVF and got included on the next IVF cycle.

For the first round of IVF I was on Gonal-F injectables morning and night. When I went in for my 2nd ultrasound I only had 4 follicles; 3 normal and 1 abnormally large. The IVF cycle was cancelled and moved to TI. I was so upset that it was cancelled and even more upset the TI didn't work. We would have to wait for the next IVF cycle that was nearly 2 months away. It felt like forever. For the next round of IVF I was moved to 300 of Follistim in the morning and 300 of Menapur at night. At the final scan I had 7 follicles. We hoped for more but would take what we could get. On day of retrieval we were informed they were able to retrieve 5 eggs. I kept running through my mind all the different scenarios. Best case I'd have a few embryos and worst case I wouldn't end up with any. The thought was too much for me. When we got the call on the status of the embryos my heart was both overjoyed and crushed. One had fertilized. I was so grateful and happy that we had the one but also so sad the others didn't make it. I only had one shot! This was it. When we went in for the transfer I was told the one embryo looked great. Grade A with no fragmentations. Thank the Lord! On day 8 or 9 post transfer I took a HPT and it was BFN. I went into breakdown mode. I cried myself to sleep knowing it was over. I'd have to go through the whole thing again. The pain was too much. On day 10 post transfer I took another test and saw the faintest line. I couldn't tell if I was making it up in my head. I guess I wasn't, yesterday I had my beta test and got the call that I'm prego! HCG Beta @ 13dpo (10dp3dt) - 130!

The road is still long but I never thought I'd get to this place. Ever. It really does only take one. Have faith on the day of the transfer and believe you are pregnant!! Don't let those HPTs play mind games with you (so easy to say, so hard to do.) I wish you all the best on your journey and pray for BFPs for all of you. It is the most broken I have ever been and only those that experience infertility can truly understand the pain. Have faith.

Some may know my story, my username is Reapage.

I Praying for a sticky bean. This has been in the making since Sept 13.

I am 23, My love is almost 33 (end of june) I was 21 when we first started trying. We thought it would be so easy! We own our home, we have stable jobs. I am one of 6 children- infertility is not a word we hear in our family.

After six months off birth control and crazy cycles I was diagnosed with PCOS. I had no cysts but my ovaries were swollen (round instead of oval) and my cycles were a mess, 50+ days. I was put on Metformin and we kept trying.

After 3 months of met, 9 months of ttc. We decided it was time for a SA. We got the results and we were DEVASTATED. He had 0-1% morphology, only 1.5 million count (normal is 20+ mill) and he had 24% motility. That weekend we had to travel to Florida to meet our new nephew... It gave us so much motivation and as soon as we got back I got with my primary physician to get a referral to the RE.

It took a month to see the RE and in the meantime all the research I found said we would basically be getting a free pass to IVF- do not pass go, do not collect $200. I also found a local RESOLVE support group... and went to my first meeting a few days before our RE consultation. Best decision I ever made for my psyche.

I was right- the RE said IVF was our only option. We did not have insurance coverage, but we have Aetna and the clinic offers a prorated discount to Aetna patients, so instead of 17k we paid 10k plus meds for ICSI. (the ended up covering my meds even tho they said they wouldn't, all three cycles) Fast forward a few months after all the testing...

Dec 14/Jan 15 IVF cycle #1- yielded 2 AB blasts... we transfer one and froze one. Chemical
As soon as I got my period, we went straight into cycle #2 with our only frozen embryo.
Feb/March IVF #2 FET- BFN
As soon as I got my period, we moved right into another cycle, We found out DH only had FOUR good sperm.
April/May IVF #3 Fresh w/donor sperm- yielded three blasts, AB, BB, BA. We transferred AB, BB and froze BA. BFP 4dp5dt(9dpo) faint faint faint. BFP 5dp5dt(10dpo), darker. BFP 6dp5dt(11dpo) with a digi!!!!!!!!

Praying that this is truly the end of the road for us. We have been through so much. I pray that my story encourages everyone to NEVER GIVE UP. Do what it takes to get your baby. This moment is worth every tear, every heartbreak, and every tough decision.

Infertility has changed my life. I am a better person for it. I have been raising money and will be walking on June 6 for the RESOLE Hope Walk to raise awareness for infertility. I will never forget this journey, and will forever support my sisters fighting the good fight<3

Natural conception after IVF!!

So in a nutshell, I struggled to conceive for a couple of years and was diagnosed with 'unexplained primary infertility' before finally undergoing IVF. Thankfully at our first attempt it was successful (i was 34) and I became pregnant with twins. Sadly we lost a twin at 10 weeks but my son was born at full term healthy and very bonny. As i was breastfeeding I didnt have a period until I stopped 7 months after his birth. However hubby and I wanted a sibling for our son so we started trying naturally and low and behold on only the second month of trying, I became pregnant!!! Truly a shock as I was expecting to have to undergo IVF again - an expensive and stressful procedure......
I am currently 9 weeks pregnant and hoping all with be fine but I wanted to give hope to those who are trying IVF and also to those who have successful IVF attempts, that natural conception can happen! Maybe I kick started my body into reproducing!! I am beyond thrilled and feel very lucky although it was a hard road getting here. Happy and healthy 9 months to all you yummy mummies to be. ;)

I have stalked the stories on this board for many years and am now thrilled that we can share our story!

A little bit of background... We began our journey 4 years ago. After a year of no luck we were referred to a fertility specialist. We went through 5 OI (ovulation induction) cycles... All negative. All tests to date were normal (hubby had sperm which got a gold star from the specialist.. Hehe)!

We were given the option of a laparoscopy to check for endometriosis or begin IVF. I had no symptoms of endo other than up to a week of spotting before each of my periods. We decided on IVF.

The following IVF and FET (single 3 day and then 5 day embies) were negative. We then decided it was time for the laparoscopy... I was dreading it! Op went really well, turns out I had stage 2 moderate endo, which would have been causing problems with implantation.

Next IVF round was 5 months later, new doc (due to moving cities), new tests (I had speckled ana levels), new protocol (clexane) and new hope.

We put back a very good looking AA day 5 blasto and 8 days past transfer (8dp5dt) I had a squinty BFP... The first time in my life! Confirmed by several pee sticks later and then blood tests.

Symptoms:
Not many unfortunately... Boobs felt a little sore but nothing else.

Best of luck to all the hopeful mums to be out there... I 100% understand the frustration and disappointment each BFN can bring. If you can check for endo or natural killer cells ... Do! Don't be afraid of a laparoscopy.... Just make sure you rest lots and have heat packs at hand for the recovery! Most importantly, don't be afraid to speak to people about your journey... It does help! Love and baby dust to every single one of you x

I conceived DS naturally 8 years ago after 2 months of trying. I never imagine having difficulty with conceiving the second time around. After 1 year of trying, I decided to visit an RE where I found out my DH had morphology issue (2%). The RE prescribed vitamins to improve sperm quality and suggested for him to quit smoking. Couple of months of BFNs later, I decided on IUI. After two failed IUIs within a span of 6 months, my DH pushed for me to go for IVF. I agreed to pursue IVF just after turning 35 years old.

I had a short protocol with low dosage. Other than frequent visits to the RE, the IVF process was relatively easy for me. I couldn't do a fresh transfer hence I had 8 embryos frozen 3 days after egg retrieval. Two cycles later, I had a natural frozen embryo transfer with 2 embryos as I do ovulate regularly. No bed rest after transfer but I took time off from work and took it easy for 3 days. 12 days post 3 day transfer I got my BFP. I didn't test earlier than that as my RE advised against it.

I am now cautiously happy but relieved that I am able to get pregnant at least. I am now 7 weeks along and haven't gone to see my RE for a scan. I will know soon if I am carrying a singleton or otherwise.

Don't lose hope even though the journey seems long and bleak. Cry when you need to but pick yourself up and keep moving forward.

xx

Me: 28, no known infertility factors after every test/procedure under the the sun including HSG & Lap. Textbook 28-30 day cycles ovulating on days 14-17 every month. Never been pregnant.
DH: 33, MF. Low sperm count (highest count out of at least 15 tests was 4mil) low morph & motility. Had vericocele repair 2 years ago, did not improve count or quality.

TTC for 3.5 years, 5 failed medicated IUI's.

Started IVF prep by taking BC pills for six longggg weeks spotting dark brown the whole time. Every. Single. Day. Started injections with Lupron first, then introduced Gonal-F and Menopur. I've been going to acupuncture faithfully for 1.5 years.

Day before retrieval: acupuncture

Day of retrieval: 16 eggs retrieved, 3 ended up not being mature enough. ICSI'd the remaining 13. DH's fresh sample was not of great quality (coagulated) but they were able to find 13 good swimmers to use :)

Next day: got the call that 6 had fertilized overnight--about half which they said is normal.

Day of 5dt: only one embryo made it to day 5, but it was a perfect grade AA and the doc commented "your uterine lining is gorgeous". Watched the embryo transfer on the monitor and became very emotional. Went to acupuncture later that afternoon.
1dp5dt- Started on progesterone suppositories, AM & PM. No symptoms except some dull cramping at night when I rolled over onto my stomach to go to sleep.
2dp5dt-5dp5dt- very sore nipples. Increased appetite, backache, tired. Completely drained by 3pm, took naps after work which I typically do not and still went to bed early. Light cramping daily, esp. when moving around and after getting from laying down or sitting for periods of time. This always happens to me when AF is coming, but I remained cautiously optimistic because the cramping was quick and not as intense. Getting up throughout the night to pee which also never happens.
6dp5dt-Blood work scheduled for the next day to confirm or deny. Decided to take an internet cheapie as DH and I didn't want to "find out" if yes, on a phone call in the parking lot at work (we work together). There it was- a faint second line! I double checked to make sure it was a pregnancy test and not an ovulation test. DH and I cried together, had to convince him a faint line is still a line!
7dp5dt- took another test with FMU, darker second line! Ecstatic. Blood work confirmed, BETA 48. Still hungry, tired, crampy , backache and sore nipples. Not peeing as much anymore, sleeping through the night without having to go.
8dp5dt-woke up with a headache, went away after a shower and something to eat. Hungry, tired, crampy and sore nips.
9dp5dt- took another test with FMU, I get so much satisfaction seeing those two lines pop up! Nipple soreness completely gone. BETA 123. Acupuncture.
10dp5dt- woke up with headache, sporadic cramping throughout the day. Backache.
11dp5dt-BETA 496. Light cramping.
12dp5dt- went out on our boat like every other Saturday, in a Sandbar which is party central. Took a nap in the cabin in the middle of it all, can't stay awake! Crampy. Had light light brown spotting which worried me at first, did my research and calmed down. Seems normal as long as it's not bright red.
13dp5dt- BETA 824. Light cramping. Small amount of light brown spotting again.
14dp5td- same symptoms.
15dp5dt-(today) BETA 2,057! woke up with headache, nipples sore again. Biggest symptom is tiredness.

Finally - after 3 years!!

After 3+ long years, I couldn't believe it when I saw "pregnant" on my Clearblue stick yesterday. I got my blood work done in the morning, but it was taking the doctor too long to call me. At lunch I bought my own test :-)!!!

First, let me say I had my doubts because not only have we failed at IVF twice (four times if you include two cancellations), but I only had a Day-5 morula, rather than a blastocyst on the day of transfer. Three doctors gave me little hope. Now, I'm so happy to report my BFP was received yesterday - both from my HPT and Beta (182).

During the TWW, here's what I felt:
- 3dp5dt - period-like cramping (lower abdomen and lower back) for 3-5 days
- extreme thirst
- 30 seconds of nausea, only once
- extreme tiredness (like in my bones)

Two days before before my pregnancy test, the symptoms just went away.

Wishing you all the best!!
